Video presentation

Last week, I've talked about Time Remapping but wasn't able to explain where it can be found. You can find it on the middle of Adobe Premier interface under Effects Control tab. All you have to do is to increase or decrease the speed.

On my assignment, I have a gap again but the video I chose is longer than the gap, so what I did is, I manipulated the speed of the video until it can be fit into the gap. In addition to that, it also compliments with my fast paced audio.

You might wonder why there's still a gap between 6th video and 7th video, the reason behind this is becuase of the audio. If you are able to hear it, the part sounds like there's a total "black out". To represent this kind of feeling, I put a gap there and it did worked well with the audio.

I also added a Title for my video, first, I made used of the photoshop to work with my main title. I used the title from my cover and made a new file.

After making it in Photoshop, I then added it in Premiere. I made used of this one, instead of using the default text in Premiere, so that it will be the same as my dvd cover and label. I created new Title then right click from the screen, choose Logo then select Insert Logo. You just have to search for the PSD file and it will automatically inserted to the frame.

Under my title, I put a black background and add Flare effects on it. At first, I had hard times working with it but after watching some video tutorial, I was able to do it. The reason why I put a flare effect is that I also used it on my cover and I find it cool. Moreoever, I made the movement from left to right to compliment the "Summit video" shown at the first part of my video. This video compliments with my background DVD label and cover. My settings are shown on the image.

In addition to that, I also added Brightness and Contrast effect because I find some videos having low quality of images. So I decided to add it to give some colours to my videos.

Basically, I didn't put a lot of effects on my video presentation. Indeed, the Twilight audio helped a lot with my video presentation because it gives something to it. What I learned here is being creative in the sense that you have to think of a video that will compliment with your audio. I really have fun with it and I'm happy with the outcome.

Video presentation

For this week, I'm still working in filling the gap with my videos and incorporate it with the audio. From the image below, as you can see, there are still spaces between my videos. I tried to add another video with it but it didn't work well. What I did was to copy the first part of the 2nd video from "Video 2". The character is running here so you can't see that the first few part is just a copy. With this approach, I was able to connect the two videos.

On this image, I used Time Remapping because my audio has a fast paced sound and the only thing I can think of is to add speed on my video. With this kind of approach, I am able to equally join my videos and audio. By the way, all the video audio is disabled for I'll be only using one audio which is the Twilight trailer.

I'm still thinking if I should add any effects or not to my video because from what I can see, there's no need for me to add effects on it. But I'm not closing doors for possibilities that I might end up adding effects on my videos.
